The benefits of reflexology are relaxation, increased circulation and reduced tension. Most importantly, by rebalancing the organs of the body, the body then becomes in a better position to heal itself.

Reflexology is ideal for relaxation, to kick start a detox program, for general health maintenance, and/or, if you have a specific health issue that you would like to address. Reflexology is also excellent at boosting your body’s health prior to a surgery for quicker / easier recovery.

How many treatments will I need?

If you have a specific health issue that you would like addressed, it normally takes 3-10 sessions. Although there are many health issues can be addressed with good success, sometimes this is not the case. The general rule of thumb is that if, after 3-6 sessions, you do not see an improvement, another method may be more appropriate for you.

How often should I have a reflexology session?

When you first start a reflexology program, it is best if the sessions are spaced 5 – 7 days apart, especially for the first 3 sessions. The ultimate goal is to gradually decrease the number of sessions to one per month for general well-being and preventative health maintenance! Reflexology is a natural and non-invasive treatment and when used regularly, can help to relieve stress, improve relaxation and maintain optimum health. Reflexology can also be beneficial in helping to increase energy levels, improve circulation and facilitating the elimination of toxins from the body.

After an injury, stress, illness or disease, the body is imbalanced. Reflexology restores balance and harmony to the body by clearing congested reflexes. It is a great boost to the immune system and the bodies own healing process.

Important - Reflexology is not for diagnosing illness or disease. And should never be used in place of instructions from your doctor. If you are concerned about a health issue, you should first seek medical attention, then Reflexology to aid in the healing process.
